As the Managing Director of Richard Lloyd Developments Ltd, Mark has established himself as a versatile leader capable of navigating the entire development lifecycle, from initial land acquisition and planning to technical design and final site delivery.

Mark’s entry into the construction industry followed a commercial trajectory, training and practicing as a Quantity Surveyor in the early 1990s. This foundational period provided him with an expert grasp of cost control, contract management, and project feasibility—skills that remain central to his methodical approach today. His early career involved close collaboration with site teams and senior management, giving him a balanced perspective on both the financial mechanics and the physical realities of successful project delivery.

For the past 13 years, Mark has been the driving force behind Richard Lloyd Developments Ltd. Under his leadership, the firm has successfully delivered a diverse portfolio of residential schemes, including the acquisition of land for new housing and the completion of multi-unit developments of up to 31 homes. His expertise extends beyond traditional construction into the complexities of planning-led development, technical design coordination, and highways negotiations, ensuring that every project is both commercially viable and built to a high standard.
